Default Day 2 Chevelle

A bit rough, but the owner stated 'it's been done for a long time, and that's the way I like it' - can't argue with that. It was parked in front of the local Speed Shop, so I took some pics because of the vintage parts on it.

Looks cool, But I'd at least repair the body rot if I owned it. Surface rust would be left untouched, though.

The car is pretty cool but it does feel like it's owner is trying a bit too hard for that neglectic/ barn find appeal. I'm not sure there wouldn't be some tire contact if it was actually street raced like that. Again, neat assortment of old parts just not sure what percent is poser vs performer.

Did the guy say what kind of number the car had turned?

He was an ole timer, and wasn't trying for anything but keeping the old street sweeper running! I don't think he runs it at a track, just a street turner...

I like it because it has a true look to it and all "he was an ole timer".

Hey!! I resemble an "Old Timer" ... but I still enjoy the hobby after almost 70 years. TAZ

Only problem I got with it is never put a teardrop scoop on a gm car. They only look good on Ford's imo. It's like putting an L88 hood on a Galaxie

I'm think I feel the same with the teardrop scoop but when GM takes a Ford scoop and gives it a GM # and puts it on a car from the factory, they're easier to like
