I have a 54 Mercury Monterey purchased from Lyman Slack Motors of Portland, OR and was wondering if anyone has a picture of the decal applied by them on new cars of that era, or if it was a metal logo, I would like to see it also, or maybe purchase it. Thank you

Lyman Slack was a Chevrolet dealer so are you saying your car was purchased there as a used unit? They weren't just any Chevy dealer either as they delivered one of the '67 L88's! There's an L/S plate frame on eBay right now at this link...BIN w/ a few watchers. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Portland-Oregon-...e-/111218057230 Also, check this link from here a few years back for some L/S info also note there were some repop plate frames available then. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbt...rs-portland-or This link has some good L/S info too... http://www.stumptownblogger.com/2010...chevrolet.html L/S delivered '67 L88 Roadster @ 09/13 Mecum/Dallas Auction... https://www.mecum.com/lot-detail.cfm...=DA0913-165417 Best of luck w/ your car and welcome aboard!
