How to track down previous title holders.

I recently bought a 1970 Camaro at an estate sale. After waiting 7months the executive of the estate cant come up a title . I've got a few vehicle history reports on it and its not hot nor has is any liens against it. I desperately need to find out the last person or state it was titled to or in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could also try Bill Gould at autoancestry.com he has done some remarkable research and is very reasonable.
