This pan is off a '69 L78 Nova that was modified and raced when new. Looks like someone cut teh pan and welded in a deeper sump for extra oil capacity. Could clean up, paint and serve as a neat Day 2 item for someone wanting a deep sump pan with original fit to the block.

Looks like a factory hipo pan to me. Didn't the l88' s have a pan like that?

The original day 2 pan has the drain plug at the very bottom, not on the side that was later
