Even though I'm dead-set against providing any sort of funds to GM via the purchase of a new model, I drove a black ZL-1 over the weekend. I found the throttle less than responsive (big delay on mash) and pickup nominal. When I say that I'm comparing it to my Shelby GT500, which is noticeably quicker. I'll also say that I noticed a significant amount of wear on the tires for a brand new car (157 miles). Perhaps some of the dealer crew couldn't resist? I do like the looks of the ZL-1 though, pretty car.
