I just posted this NOS set of vintage(circa 1969 I think) Lakewood traction bars on Ebay at No Reserve. They are for 67-69 Camaro/Firebird and 68-72 Nova.
Here is a link to the auction: NOS Lakewood Traction Bars ![]() Thanks, Jason |

I see some of these bars with real severe angles at the leading edge and some not so severe. What does that mean?

Thanks, I know who ever wins them will be tickled with them. I considered keeping them for myself but I do enough of that already. There is a fine line between collecting and hoarding. Its a line I think many of us ride.

Just for info, I have a '71 Lakewood catalog and by then they show that bar #2010 for 67-69 mono leaf cars and the multi leaf 67-69 Camaro do not have the extension behind the shock plate (#2011). Also in the 71 catalog the bars seem to be more sqauare shaped, a bit beefier, and not having such a severe angle cut on the front. Lends more credence to those being earlier bars.
Are you sure they are for multi leaf or just for mono leaf cars? |

Jason,
Are they for multi-leaf or mono-leaf springs? Ed

I believe they are for both. I believe the difference in height for multileaf and monoleaf springs it accounted for in the perch welded to the rearend itself.
