I like the car. It's a shame he didn't go all the way with the correct parts.

Though a beautiful car and the fact that it currently has all the right parts to make it a very safe and reliable car by todays standards but given what this car was built for, with the low mileage and the original paint I would have put the car back to exactly how it was in the magazine complete with the same hood. Restored that way it would have been the perfect example of a Day II car not to mention preserving a little history.

There are some really great threads in this section that will teach the difference in period correct parts verses modern.
