Default 1967 or older Corvette "resto mod"

Would like to find a 1967 or older Corvette that can be DRIVEN. "Resto Mod" or whatever terminology fits (modernized). Coupe is preferred.

Have a friend selling a red /red/white full frame off 64 original drivetrain ragtop with a high dollar resto and parts priced very reasonably.

A good friend of mine has a 65' Roadster that he has talked about selling. It has a full VB Products suspension upgrade, 17" Boyds wheels, GMPP ZZ383, JW Transmissions 700R4, Vintage heat & air. The car has been on two Power Tours. (2005 & 2011) Red, red interior, white top. It runs mid 12's in street trim, and delivers 18+ MPG. If interested, I can put you in contact with him directly.

427king. Thanks for the reply but I am not looking for an original car since I want to be able to drive it without worries.

72LS5. The 1965 sounds interesting. Ask him what his ballpark price is before I pursue it. Money is always driving these things since my wife needs to approve a buy (she is footing the money for this).

No longer looking for a Corvette. I bought something else. We can remove this thread.
