This is a brake proportioning valve / hold-off valve assembly that could be from a 1970 Camaro Z/28 that I parted out long ago. Thought it was from my 70 Chevelle SS but I was wrong (thanks for the headsup on that one). Might be correct for a few other years and cars (Nova, Firebird, etc.) as well but you'll need to figure that one out for yourself. Thought I might offer it up here first before trying the Ebay routine… The stamped date code is 016 0 (January 16, 1970). It been many years since this was functional on the car so no guarantees as to working condition, but it’s a stock assembly that might be the right thing for your ride… First person to hit me with $100.00 get it. I think that was used on 1970-74 Camaro/Firebird.
Chevelle & other GM A-Bodies weren't positioned as close and had much more line used between the two. |
