i recently bought a 69 RS Z 28 Camaro. It has a 427 in it and 4 speed non matching .Thats the reason I bought it, got it pretty cheap. What I am wondering did Yenko make an RS car? I want to clone this thing if possible and it could be right. If not I'm just gonna go back original with it.

Yenko is not known to have had any '69 RS COPOs. However other dealers did. It was recently revealed that Courtesy Chev in Ohio not only had RS COPOs some featured a special COPO hood stripe.
You want to be different, that's it.

William,
What did that stripe look like? Is that the one with the little spears along the vertical portion of the cowl hood? |

Not certain; this could be it. I have heard from someone else that has a car with the same stripe. The Courtesy COPO RS window sticker lists the stripe.

Yenko collector Randy Miller has a real 69 Yenko Camaro that was missing the original drivetrain when he got it, so he made it into a RS equipped Yenko, its Daytona Yellow with a black vinyl top, console, rosewood wheel, and a L88 spec 427 that dynoed around 620 HP, it sounds wicked! He brings it to local cruise nights, its a hand full with the wide tread GTs on it, very cool car.
