I have a distributor part #111480 which is dated 6E10. I know this is a 302 distributor but the date says 6 on it. I have had this a long time and I know it has not been restamped as the lines going around the distributor are there and look very original. It has a PER-LUX Ignitor module in it. Can this just be a mistake or what? Anyone seen this?? I tried to take Pics of it but they did not come out well.
Thanks

Could be a service replacement piece. I have seen a few out there with 70's dates.

The 480 distributor was still available from GM or Delco into the early '90s. Our business regularly ordered them for customers.
