Before I put this 442 on ebay, I thought that I would offer it to the folks here on the site. It's a 50,000 actual mile Special Order Black 442. It is equipped with Power Steering, Power Brakes, Air-Conditioning and a 4-Speed. All original drive-train, original sheetmetal, buildsheet, factory owners documents and is beautifully restored. A good friend of mine traded it to me and I'm not really an Oldsmobile guy. The car is flat out gorgeous. $40,000.00 OBO

Wow, really nice Ed!! Strange how black was not a standard color on the Cutlass for that one year.....

Have a friend that had a really nice black 72 cutlass survivor. Don't see many black 72's that's for sure. If I can pick at one little detail, before you put it on E-Bay, take that 442 emblem off the glovebox and pick up a "Cutlass" emblem from one of the repo guys. It'll help if a real buyer is looking for a '72. Clearly tons of time and cost were invested in the details & this one is easy to fix. Good luck with the sale, beautiful car! Joe |

350 was the std. mill for the '72 Cutlass with 442 option.

455 was an additional option (std with W30) |
