Default Landing RW 23 Charlotte

I took this yesterday as I was landing in CLT on the last leg of my three day trip. If you go 'Full Screen' and turn up the volume, you can see and hear what we hear. It appears I am left of centerline, but, remember, it is a large aircraft and the camera was on the left side of my windscreen so the nose was tracking right down the middle.

Regards,

Mark

That's awesome. I always wanted to know what pilots see since us passengers only get to see side to side through the windows.

Thanks for sharing,

Dave

That's really cool Mark....you gotta do more of these!! You ever come into Chicago Ohare....I'd love to see you coming into there with a couple feet of snow on the ground!

Yes, I find myself at 'Oh Hell International' in Chicago all the time.

Here is one from a couple nights ago landing in Manchester, NH. It's just the last 500'

I'll try to get some more.

Very neat Mark, almost makes me wish I was still working at Goodyear Corporate Flight Ops.....ahhhh not really...
Have been on allot of test flights and trips over the years and those jump seat TO's and Ldg's were the best ( for a AC mech anyway)
These guys need to see a video of near minimum approach just as you break out.
Pro pilots are the best...

Cool stuff...gives a new meaning to the term: "in flight movie".

When I see something from the cockpit I think you guys will be interested in. I'll try to capture it.
