Was it originally a column shift or floor shift column? I don't mean to be insulting, but I have seen many a column shift column "converted" to a floor shift design column. Maybe you can post a few pictures?
Thanks, Bill |

Jason [/ QUOTE ] Jason, Yes they both have the reverse lock out lever, but a column shift tilt column would have a gear shift lever equipt shift bowl, and a floor shift column would have a smooth shift bowl with out the lever. Many times a column shift bowl will be ground off and smoothed over to look like a floor shift unit. I have seen this many times with the very rare 1967 only Chevelle tilt columns. Bill |
