It was in Musclecar Review YEARS ago. If the story is true, it's a low-mi car.

When Best Of Show Automotive contacted me, they said this car was never shown nor in any magazines according to the owner. Do you know what issue it was in? They sent me photos of the under carriage, it would take a lot of time, solvent, (and Beer) to get it looking like the rest of the car.
It appears to be the real deal with fantastic documentation. Too bad it is not a 1970. IMHO, A 1972 bench seat, automatic on the column, no a/c car just doesn't seem to be worth that kind of money, even if it is Black, or how documented it is. Bill Pankiw |

Is that the place in Mentor, OH?
I see their stuff on eBay all the time. They use Photoshop to present their auctions, which seems more professional to me. On the other hand, they are over the top when it comes to their descriptions: http://inventory.bestofshowautomotiv...asp?VIN=131021 http://inventory.bestofshowautomotiv...sp?VIN=CN10115 My GTX friend said they were full of it with the former, and I can tell you that the latter's description of "1 of 2" is BS - chances are it is 1 of 2 similar cars in Galen Govier's registry, which is a completely different ball game. That being said, they may not be dishonest, to make a distinction. I will tell you later what issue the Buick was in. This car is well-known in the Buick world so for the dealer to make such a proclamation is foolish. |

Please PM me with the issue / month & year when you get a chance. Thanks, Bill Pankiw |

For all I know, it could have been passed along from collector to collector. Stay tuned for PM later today . . . I recall article was written by Jerry Heasley and car may have been in Texas, but it's been YEARS since I've read the article.
