Zl-1 update
got some tuning done..changed out the governor in the trans..Big thanks to Tom Williams for helping me out
 got the tranny to shift @5500 instead of 4200..not perfect yet but getting closer..got my drag radials on and was hoping for some road time tomorrow but the weather gods are going to shut us down for the next 3 days..so Ill have to wait for next weekend..car is amazing

Albert, what did you do to change the shift point?
I would like mine to hold passing gear a little longer.

[/ QUOTE ] Donnie, been getting educated about the governor and how it works.springs weights etc..got a stock 70 LS-5 unit from a member here..got me from 4200 to 5500 in one shot..theres a thread about it here somewhere, Ill see if I can find it
