I recently bought a box of miscellaneous parts from a fellow and found an X44 cowl tag in the box. In the lower left corner of the tag has a circle with an S in the center stamped on it. Just curious if anyone has ever seen this before. The only other place I have seen the circle S stamp was on my crossram. Any input?

A.O. Smith used & still uses the S within a circle symbol as their manufacturers logo on their steel/raw iron materials..blocks,heads,vehicle frames etc.. |
