These are GM smog tubes that have been sitting on my shelf forever. I got them with a bunch of NOS stuff in the trunk of a 1970 LS6 Chevelle. One tube has a GM tag that reads RH, 357106, 75D2. The other tag must have fallen off along the way. The finish on these is extremely nice - I would use them on a show car. They're for sale - let me know if anyone is interested and what you think they're worth.

OOOps - sorry, didn't know. Wait a minute - people put ads on here for items they are running on ebay - obviously no price on those. Please clarify the rules. Regards, Bruce

If the Ebay auction has no reserve, no price has to be listed. Reserve auctions have to have the reserve revealed.

I may want these tubes........I need CORRECT tubes for my 70 L-78 Camaro. I believe the correct configuration had the left/drivers side going over top of valve cover....
Please send me pics and asking price...... Does anybody have comments on quality/accuracy of Crane Corvette or Hoedel 70 LS-6 repops........

Sorry, I missed seeing the attachment.........
After looking at right/passenger side of Cumby's survivor, Rick Nelson's pilot, and Dennis Lang's LS-6......the attached pic has a dfferent right tube. I'll wait for Rick or others to comment....... Thanks, Chuck

Those A.I.R. tubes you're selling were used on 1975 Impala-Belair-Caprice 454cid. Your Drivers side is part #333827. This website asks that all ads state a selling price on here,or else they usually get deleted. The guys who bring notice of their eBay reserve auctions on this site either reveal the reserve price here at the same time,or else they don't have a reserve auction at all and start them at the lowest possible eBay price like $9.99. |

I know that 1970 LS6's had two different styles of left tube. I believe that the early cars routed the left hose around the front of the valve cover and the later cars routed the left hose over the corner of the valve cover. I know that these tubes thread properly onto 1970 BB smog manifolds, but I never put the smog back on my LS6 so these pipes were never installed. The right one looks absolutely correct, but I agree that the left one doesn't look correct. Thanks for all of the feedback - this is a great web site and I don't want to violate the rules, so I'll just put the tubes on ebay.

Didn't the later ones have crimped ears on the ends like the driver side one, and earlier ones tapered like the pass side one?
I have 69 A/C ones, and the driver side comes over the top, like the one in the pic. |
