Its just Testors Paint from a hobby store. You will have to mix yellow and brown to get the final color that looks right. I just play with it till it looks what I think is ok.

The yellow Yenko Chevelle that Legendary had was one of my old cars. I purchased it from Vince and after I sold it the next owner he then located the original motor, rear and trans. When I told Vince he found them he responded with yea I knew they were there but the motor was 60 over so I didn't tell you about it. I thought oh shit. I found the Yellow Yenko John now has in North Carolina and when advertised it was a complete car. It was in Hemmings sometime in the early 80s after which Carl Dwiggens acquired it, then Dick Bridges then Randy Miller to me and finally John purchased the car and did his usual outstanding restoration on it.

I only had one orignal brake drum, but cleaned it up and bored it out. I see they now sell some non finned new replacement drums. I may have to just get one.

Axles and other bits
Most times im real neat with the paint marks but the axles clearly showed the paint dripped all over so this was kinda fun to do.

Brake Caliper Rebuild
I struggled to find much for paint marks on these but this is how i ended up finishing them. Some new seals and reassemble. I thought i had a tool for installed the dust boots but I didnt so i quickly made a driver disc for assembling.

I’ve thought about doing this on a Bridgeport. What tool did you use, and how did it turn out?

Just a standard boring bar with 5/8" bar and carbide insert. I think they turn out nice but sometimes you do get some chatter. I had to really slow down the spindle speed to almost the min the machine would run to make it all work.
