Spectra is a Canadian company.
http://www.spectrapremium.com/spectra.html They will not sell directly, but I talked to someone at their customer service desk who owns three big block Novas(name escapes me). I bought mine from Tamraz on E Bay for $149. I got prices for the same tank from Napa and Car Quest here in Canada for $800. and $550 respectively. |

I have purchased a "Canadian" tank from Tamraz for my Chevelle. Now I see many Nova catalogs are listing tanks, Ground Up, Classic Ind. OPG etc
Anyone have input on these other options? Are they all the same tanks? ![]() Thanks |

Canadian made Spectra sells their tanks to many retailers.
I was over @ TAMRAZ last week and they sell both SPECTRA,as well as tanks manufacturered in Taiwan. It's up to you the consumer to ask which brand of tank it is they are selling you. Ask to see the box too,as I had one tell me it was a Spectra, but refused to show me the shipping box, which woulda had SPECTRA on it...It turned out it came from Taiwan. |
