It's not just zero bidders, people with good feedback help their buddies move their wares as well.

On that note, here's one I'd be a player on if it had a clutch pedal-

guys, guys, guys...it was for sale on the open market and anyone could have bought it..is the guy that bought it and took it to Ore supposed to sell it for less than he bought it for???...even if it went to a private party he sure as heck is probably not going to sell it for what he paid for it less than a week later unless he got in trouble once home...dealers or private parties its about the money wether you want to admit it or not...heck I think the stats refer to me as blue collar worker..I don't like it anymore than the next guy it makes it real hard to work/own the cars when you are running a Schlitz budget..not one of us is going to take a valuable car and give to another member or the open market for less than they paid for it unless the market went belly up...and that day does not look like its coming anytime soon...get them while you can...they are not made anymore is what a major car guy told me years and years ago...and to be honest he is/was 100% right....One Adam 12 One Adam send back-up to Bothell Wa....flame away....

unfortunately we need money to pay bills and live on....love and peace and the good of all does not spend for didly around here........

I said this once before, but I will say it again, I would expect a collector to make a little profit on a car after they were done enjoying it. However, when brokers and dealers start buying "finished" cars to resell a week later it only drives up the price unnaturally. Before everyone jumps on me just compare it to the real estate market, would you expect 20% profit on a piece of property in a week(don't forget the seller has at least a 6% agent commission to pay)so a $200,000 piece of property is worth $252,000 a week later? And don't forget the YENKO cars are getting to this point. I am sure alot people do not agree with me, but look at it this way, if a private individual sells one for 252, how much will it cost HIM to buy another one at this rate?

Ray, I hate to see the dealers do this just as much as you. But I look at it 2 different ways. 1) If there weren't any classic car dealers out there, then a lot more of these cars would have never been restored because the potential audience of buyers would be too small to justify spending the time and money to restore a car properly. So having these dealers has helped the hobby and helped save a lot of cars. 2) If it isn't a dealer that jumps on a car and marks it up, it will be an enthusiast who sees a chance to make a quick buck. But we have to remember that the price only goes up because there are people willing to pay the higher price for a particular car. If none of us ever sold our cars, then prices would stay low!
