It would not surprise me to see them go to a no reserve platform in one capacity or another in the future. Or, if was car was offered with reserve, there would be a seller's fee of sort. They have become very independent in the last couple of years.

I can only guess that auction has disillusioned many a 69Z owner thinking that lighting my strike twice. That having been said, they will get an eye opener with the reserve BaT will offer up.

William's post with the 2 cars at each end of the spectrum, shows how hard the pendulum can swing.

Last car out in June was 664008, but still some cars with June tags were built into July like this one was. I know of 7 cars built after this 664654 car that all have legit 06A tags, with the latest being 470 cars after.

Also, they had to take the tag off the car to alter the interior code from 711 to 712.

Default Bat

Not a Camaro, but I had my car consigned to BAT. Photos taken, fees paid, and down to finalizing the description. My car had bulletproof documentation to prove it was originally
an L79 car. Honestly described as missing its original engine. No stories or issues. They would not allow me to call it an L79 car. I escalated the matter to a senior manager there who told me that " if a documented Fuelie Corvette was missing its fuel injection then it could no longer be called a Fuelie Corvette". I pointed out that they had no problem describing 6 other L79 cars that had no documentation.

I was going to list my 69 L78 Chevelle on BAT, real engine, rear end car, correctly restored with a missing correct radiator. BAT wanted the reserve at $60K and gave me comps of cars that were not L78, headers automatic. I have since just decided to sale it myself, or enjoy and drive.
