I have been in contact with Howard.
He sent me a photo of the original title (dated June 27, 1969), and yes it's the same Black 1969 Chevelle SS (same VIN) that I own today. I never dreamed that I'd find the original owner of the car... or that the original owner would actually find me! He told me "I thought I had the final invoice on the car with all the Norwood installations but can't for the life of me find it. I know it cost $6400.00 in 1969. Big $." He also asked me "If you ever want to sell it and I'm still alive please let me know." Rest assured Howard, if I ever decide to sell the car I will call you first! I also hope you find the original Norwood invoice and paperwork. Keep in touch!

I'm not sure how many Black L89 Chevelle's Norwood sold but according to David Graziano that worked for Norwood this car was a L89 4 speed they used it to tow the funny car at the track once.
