Double gaskets or a piece of crud are common causes...but I know there is no crud on your cars..so maybe it's the gaskets...good luck

Double gaskets is a very common error. One gets stuck up inside of the block. Good thinking Wilma!

Have you inspected the cannister adapter after removing it?
It's unusual,but I had a similar scenario,and after basically doing what's already been recomended,found the adapter had a harline crack in it.
I would replace the adapter.

After a couple of start and drive cycles, it seems to have sealed itself up ....Not a Drop anywhere.......I finally have a car that does'nt drip Oil..........

As the old GM mechanics used to say if your BBC is not using a little bit of oil you are not driving it properly.
