The car disintegrated into little pieces and he only broke his leg and he wasn't even wearing a seat belt. Who did in those days anyway ![]() into several pieces. Sorry to see that one go..... ![]() ![]() ![]() Another guy in the neighborhood had a 1070 Challanger ( 440 c.i. ) and he rolled it at 100 MPH. He died ! ![]() salvage the two front seats for a project car. The drivers seat was to twisted - it was un-repairable. Cars from the Muscle Car era were not really engineered to survive bad crashes. I don't know if they even crash-tested those cars. Did they? ![]() designed to collapse during impact, there were no energy absorbing anythings, ........ The fact that this guy got out alive is a testimony to how well the car is engineered.
