Tony, You weren't kidding when you said you had the twin to my car. With an 04A build date and a 04/14/1970 sell date with the selling dealer....Courtesy Chevrolet Center in San Diego, California, and is a 17 17 paint code car too! WOW

Erik..I am working on the BB heater box today. I took the engine to the machine shop 2 weeks ago. I checked with them a few days later to see how it was going. They didn't get anything done due to a fire. A bird picked up a lit cigarette but and carried it to its nest in the overhang. Caught the building on fire. State inspector would not let them open again until they made some electrical changes.
Allen had a BB crossmember and the box. Found a set of GM engine stands and a z bar from a guy on Team Chevelle. Got the BB springs in it. Looks a lot better with them. Making progress...Tony
