My buddy has a Glockner COPO, wait until I tell him that story. 🤬
There was a COPO found somewhere around Atlanta, about 15-20 years ago. It was badged and painted as a Z, and the guy who bought it did not know what it was, until someone clued him in. I think it still had some big block stuff on it- maybe heater box, can't remember. Then he checked the rear, and it was a BE.

Sounds like my friends Glockner COPO. It was badged as a Z28 with engine and trans gone, but had all the indicators of a COPO. I was looking thru the COPO chapter in McNeish’s Z28 book one day and there was a bunch of trim tag pictures. One of them was from a Glockner COPO one number away from my friends. If I remember right there’s three Glockner COPO’s with sequential numbers and could be more.

Mine just had the Z-stripes, still retained the bowtie badging. Was being used as a street machine from 1978 until I bought it in 2018. I wasn't even sure I bought a COPO until I consulted folks on this site with my suspicions.

Looking forward to hearing more about your Copo Jeremy, welcome aboard!
According to the linked Camaros.net thread, the Silver ZL1 is in the picture background?
Looks like a '69 Camaro behind the Red Pickup between a '69 Toro and a Cutlass?

Kurt S. car is Garnet Red, white vinyl top, red deluxe interior. it spent it's only 8 years on the road in SE Colorado until it was wrecked in or around 1977. It has been indoors ever since. still has all the original drivetrain... the water pump and starter have been replaced, the smog pump was removed, other than that it's all original. i think even most of the exhaust is original

What color pinstripe was on the car....white ? Seeing that it’s an X11 car.
