Just got word that our son Nicks plane is leaving Egypt. It has been a long year but finally over. It will be a happier Thanksgiving this year!

Went and saw my nephew today.
It took this for me to fully understand what our veterans went through and are still going through I do see them in a different way now and really appreciate what they do,done and did.

Sam I'm really happy to see your son coming home and tell him Thank you for me.
God bless them all

Quick update. Nick landed in Maine around 10:30 this morning. He and us are really glad he is on American soil. They fly to Fort Lewis in Washington State and then back home in a few days. Again, thanks for your thoughts, prayers and support!

Just yesterday morning CNN did a story on the greeters @ Bangor airport...ask him if there was a whole group of folks there to meet him...and tell him "thank you" from all of us here in Hillbillyville!

The people in Bangor do a terriffic job. Both He and Pat left from there and the people/city are amazing. A lot of support! Hopefully Nick will be able to go back to work for Bergeys GMC-Volvo Inc. at the Franconia truck garage. Work is tight at the dealerships right now!
