[ QUOTE ]
My Norwood 70 R/S Z-28 is also a 07E build, with a 590277 VIN #. My engine assy is stamped V0729CTB.

Interesting with no explanation how your V0629CTC M-40 engine was assembled and waited approx one month for a body........while mine was installed with 24-48hrs after it was assembled ??????????

Go figure ???

It usually comes down to something as simple as which end of the engine storage rack was the closest to the assembly line. You could have had a couple months worth of engines on the racks and the line guys wouldn't care anything about which engine was loadad on that rack first.
