It sure is a nice looking car. In my youth I back-halved a 1970 GTO and while it was a nice racecar, I learned that it's alot less expensive to buy one done than to build one. I still wish I had that car street legal and stock (Racing was a phase I went through).
Best of luck on your project, but it seems a shame to hack up another musclecar, when the classifieds on RJunk and National Dragster are already teeming with quality done cars for sale. I'd bet you could find a top notch turnkey car and spray it however you wanted for less than building a racecar from scratch... JMO Blair

Hi Ed, any chance this camaro has a 396 and 4 speed combo? My original 396 and muncie 4 speed from my 69 chevelle ended up in a car like this and ended up in Georgia. Thanks, Phil.
