Is there any way to notify customs in case these cars are leaving the country in one piece? Are outbound containers even checked? Any national agency interested in classic car theft or just the local PD ?
This really sucks. I would agree with posting VIN and pics. Good luck. I hope the thieves meet justice in a back alley. ![]() ![]() |

recieved a call from Chicago police last night. The truck was found. I am picking it up today. It was a 23rd and California. In the police stations parking lot. Talk about balls!!!

I had a friend who had his Nova stolen a few years back. It had been his Moms since new and he used it as a driver. Almost two years after it was stolen he received a notice that it was going to auction because he never picked it up from the impound yard it had been in since the thieves left it illegally parked. He was never notified, sad that the impounders and the stolen car coppers didn't speak. It had been outside with a busted window for almost two years. He didn't bother taking it home.

Got my truck. Seat is cut open with a X in the seat portion. Other then that nothing really wrong with it I can see
