I think those may be for 70 and later Nova and Camaro's. Both my 70 Camaros have the groove but my 69 did not.

I think so too, I have never seen the grooves on the 69's I have torn down.

My original '69 Chevelle rotors don't have the groove and they have never been turned.

My 67 L78 has the grooved ones. Cannot say they are original for sure but at 62k miles and they have been turned at least once if not twice so I figured they were. Are there any date codes on the rotors that I can check?
