In your first post you stated that these 840 heads were off of a 1969 L78 El Camino unfinished project. So if I get this right these heads might not be from that car but from one of the 5 L/78 cars you have parted out in the past? Does this mean they might not be a matched set from the same car? I never said that I knew if the heads were cracked or not. I only said that I did not think that they were in that great of condition when you got them and I question how you can say that are as nice as you represent now.
As far as the other statements go I tried to get you to rectify the gross misrepresentation of the Nova you traded me for this car but it fell on deaf ears with you. I only question how you represent the things that you sell now because I do not want to repeat the guilt I had when you misrepresented the virgin 074 heads. If that needs to be addressed thru the administrators then they will contact me. But what kind of freind am I to these people if I keep quite and allow you to do to others what you did to me? [ QUOTE ]
Nova you traded me for this car but it fell on deaf ears with you. [/ QUOTE ] Lets make no mistake about it,i got a truck that was sideswiped[you even said your wife wanted it out of the driveway it was so ugly],had a huge hole in the roof, had a 6 cyl,w 3 speed and a 10 bolt in it with only seats in the interior. It was dragging on the ground because 2x6s were holding it up,and it had to be dropped off the truck it was delivered on because it bottomed out when trying to roll it off,and had 4 flat tires. The tailgate had 4 inches thick of bondo.Truck was 50% apart,4 speed trans was blown and in a box, smashed windshield. In trade for the truck you got a car that by its certification called it an L78 by inspection "perfect car for resto based on its 65K value when done" Remeber before you make false statements that i have 4 emails 6 to 9 months after the sale where you are wanting to buy 2 of my camaros [i have 2 phone calls to you on cars as recent as 3 months ago and the elky was well over a year ago ]and asked if i knew anyone here in CT that could paint your nova because they wanted 20K to paint it and the elky when you asked them locally,.certainly no behavoir of someone thats unhappy with a prior deal, wouldnt you say.? Your "problem" with the deal was when I sold the truck since it wasnt worth spending the money on,and you found out the parts that I was selling separately were worth alot more than you first thought almost a year earlier .Time to quit the lies . |

Chuck the last conversation I remember was me begging you to take the Nova back like you had done for somebody else on this site when they figured out the car was not what you said it was. I did offer to pay extra to trade it for something that did not require as much work because I do not have the means or the time for big projects anymore. I only requested that I inspect what ever you offered me before I send any more money out but that fell on deaf ears. If that Nova would have been worth $65k when done it would only be after somebody sunk $80k in it.
The bottom line is you misrepresented the Nova, you lied about what you were going to do with the El Camino and you are never going to make it right to me. I sold the Nova at a huge loss because I would not misrepresent the car like you did. I do not remember talking or e-mailing you after that but what does it matter? So you have never answered the last 2 questions I have had: Are the heads you advertised off of the El Camino as you said on the first post or they from something else now and how many miles are on the white 1969 Z/28 that you called Lee a liar on? ![]() Mark Sheppard |

I look on this section of the supercar site looking for parts for sale..I dont believe this bantering back and forth has anything to do with auto parts for sale. Is there a forum of some kind for this subject?..Ebay stopped the negative feedback system for sellers..I guess the supercar site is starting thier own form of it ??

They still have the negative feed back for buyers to rate the sellers on e-bay. Why do you think Chuck keeps trying to sell here?
In his first post he stated: A pair of fresh squareport 840s. They are dated March 69 on both.[I believe 26th or 28th day] Fully rebuilt these were from a L78 elky project that had never been restored. Never touched and never rebuilt before going into the shop.No porting or mods, welds repairs etc. Very hard to find in this condition. 1599.00 Also have a 4/69 mint used original #163 intake 399.00 No canada sales . 3 day return policy on these items less shippings. Honestly I am sorry but what do you recommend? I do not know of another 1969 L-78 el camino projects that he might have received other than the one he got from me. I am just saying that those heads were not in as of good of condition when he got them from me as he stated in his ad. Belive me this wears on me also but if I know the truth what should I do? Chuck based on the heads I have bought in the past from you I'll take my chances
. I'll be down in your area next month so I'll pick them up - not in any rush as this project isnt coming up anytime soon but the dates are perfect. I'll send out the payment this week - Thanks - Jeff
