Re: 69 and 71 Berger Z-28s found in barn
Compare the 71 here to the other tag. Somedays they were sharp, somedays they weren't. The "1" and the "2" could be confused due to either the stamping or the photo. The paint looks original to me, but my first thought was the same as yours, is that a "1" or a "2".
Anyway you look at it, very  find.
