Sounds alot like the car bulletpruf has for sale on this site. I would say 15-17k. The engine alone is worth a good bit.

I am not talking about his car per say, but something in the same neighborhood just with a cleaner body (not knocking his car one bit). Thanks for the input. I'm guessing the car is worth about $10,000.

Geography can play an important part here..66's thrive in some areas,not as much in others.I've seen a car like that bring $7000.00 in the northwest,$11-14000.00 in southeast.

I sold a 66 SS with a pretty clean body, totally disassembled earlier this year, I included a 66 360 HP engine and muncie for 7k. It needed everything. The 65 L78 should be worth 5K or more in pieces. I guess it depends on how clean the car is.

It would be really hard to buy that car for $7000 in the Northwest...
