As much fun as I have had in the past, this year may have been the best yet for me.
First of all, having a lot of my family there was really special. Rob’s son Drew, who is 7, is really hooked on racing. Late on Friday he got to go with Rob in the Camaro where they did a nice smoky burnout (which he loves to see) and make a13.16 pass. Second, for me, it seemed like it was 1971, taking part in a Stock Eliminator meet, with me in “Red Alert”, Bob Hamilton’s SS/DA LS-6 Chevelle.  The day started with me paired against Kim Howie in his Gibb/Harrell Camaro.  Round two saw me up against Mike Guarise in his “Black Gold” Pontiac.  Finally up against the old man himself, Ken Barnhart in his ZL-1 Camaro.

As I stated may times through the weekend, I was humbled that you let me play in the likes of these fantastic cars. By the end of the weekend, I was humbled to be in the presence of so may great people!!!! Thanks again, it will not be a weekend soon forgotten!!
