Default Re: 1970 Pontias Trans Am Ram Air IV

This was the hardest and most expensive car i have ever had to restore. 1 of 88 ever made, 1 of 24 California cars, 1 of 15 4 speeds, 1 of 9 in white, 1 of how many with so few options. There were so many 1 off parts for this year it mamakes you sick. We short cut nothing so it was expensive. It has the correct Ram Air IV block, intake, California carburetor, head bolts, manifolds, radiator and it took 2 years to find the California gas tank. It was the biggest pain to restore that i wouldn't suggest anyone restoring a 1970 unless you have a lot of money or a donor car. It took 3 years and an awful lot of patience to restore. It is absolutely gorgeous and the first and last Pontiac Chuck and Paul will restore. If it weren't so rare and it wasn't me they wouldn't have done it. Thanks God it took BEST IN CLASS 2ND GENERATION at the TRANS AM NATIONALS! The Baldwin Motion car is soon to be started. I will update it when i get something done.
