Yes I know that this rear was originally coded for an open 3.31. The posi unit was in it already when I opened it up. It is a GM 3 series posi unit. I cannot read the casting date on the housing but the assembly stamp is 0812K.

There is a 1970 Chevelle for sale on this site and ebay that has a CCW rear end but it appears to have a E stamped on it. Is this still a factory posi?

I will have this rear at Corvettes at Carlisle this coming weekend. My space number is L88... easiest space to remember at that show!
