[/ QUOTE ] I can tell you it wasn't too many....the word got around pretty quickly back on the streets of Aurora, IL. Everyone knew that no SS396 Chevelle ran like that car did without sounding pretty radical. Those 396 emblems were on the car very early in its life.

Mid 60's picture of another car called "Orange Crate." This car ran C/Hot Rod at AHRA tracks. Sure was a lot younger when this picture was taken?
