I think Dick Landy is the coolest man to ever set foot on a drag strip and that picture of him with the cigar in his mouth changing the plugs on that dual-plug Hemi 1500 miles from home confirms that.

Thanks so much for posting all those great shots Next time you see Rick say hello for me and tell him thanks, too I saw a couple familiar faces in those shots from Oswego....I am also reminded of how crude a facility it was, even in those days, but it was close to home so we ran there in spite of it

Man Great pics!!!!!!!!!!

I was 11 years old then and was into dirt bikes, started getting into cars around 74 and remember heading to the grove to watch the action. Super stuff thanks for sharing!!!!!!
