Good memory and great thought Andrew!.
Yes the bogus document guy is Brian Mallyon of Calgary...wonder if he's had anything to do w/ this car or the hokey docs?. ![]() ~ Pete |

Checking back today Sept. 17/08 for results of this car's Sept. 13/08 auction, the previous links as above by the Electric Garage have been altered and now include the word 'Recreation' also there's no signs of the previously touted V.V. Cooke 'documents'?.
No idea when the links were changed, how the car was represented at the auction or if it sold...anyone from here at the sale?. Lets hope the Electric Garage people changed things before the Sept. 13/08 auction date and represented the car as the Recreation it truly is...also destroyed the bogus docs!. Obviously the no-sell eBay ad can't be altered and is still alive today showing pics of the hokey docs but will die out soon and the only text mentioning them is; "...Documentation; V.V. Cooke Chevrolet, Louisville , KY to Charles Rotell, Louisville, KY..." Anyone have a way to capture the eBay pics of the hokey docs and permanently include them here in this thread before they're gone?. Here's an online article that notes the car valued at $150,00 and shows the Electric Garage President...a Mustang guy?! http://blog.calsun.canoe.ca/sixinthe..._ready_to_roll ![]() ~ Pete ![]() |

The ad says it's a clone. Vehicle Description 1969 Camaro Copo 427 Four Speed - Recreation [/ QUOTE ] Yes it NOW does and that's exactly what's noted above.. It didn't say that when viewing the links previously or when it was on eBay and included documents to make a fella believe it was an original Copo car.. These docs aren't shown or mentioned now but can still be seen if you click on the old eBay ad at the beginning of this thread.. ![]() ~ Pete |

Eighty two pictures in the original ad. All are of nice quality, all but two. The camera operator couldn't figure out how to work the macro setting on the two shots of the block stamp.
