Plymouth sponsored “The Plymouth Troubleshooting Contest” in the US and Chrysler sponsored one
in Canada. There were thousands of schools in the US that participated and hundreds in Canada. Teams of two students each were given a car which would not start and each team had to determine the problem and then fix it within an allotted time period.
