Those pictures must be a couple of years old, that toll booth used to be on the 190 on the West side of Buffalo. A year or so ago they were taken out to save the people of Buffalo the $.50 it cost to drive around the city.
New York State found out the contractor who was awarded the demo job was going to sell the structures to the Cattaraugus Indian Tribe. They wanted to put them back up on I-90 were it crosses their reservation near Angola, NY.
The last I heard the contractor had to destroy the toll booths upon removal. Now that’s only in New York…
