BTW, Bob has been in contact with several magazines who are interested in articles from SCR11. One major magazine has requested lots of racing action, including smokey burnouts. I would once again like to remind everyone to take a few moments and put together something telling about your car. Make several copies, as last year we had at least 5 writers at the event.

Lastly..it has been suggested to me that perhaps we have a "gambler's race" at the track on Friday. How this works, everyone throws X amount of $$$ into a pot, race bracket style until we have a winner, with the winner getting the $$4. It was suggested that the winner get half and charity get half. How about this?

Everyone throws $100 into the pot, "buy backs" $20.00 each, (if you lose, you can buy back in) and since we have revamped the auction some, all the proceeds go to charity. The winner would receive recognition on here, and perhaps a nice certificate/winner decal from Cumby.
