I remember Mark Hassett telling me that when Joel Rosen visited the SCR (was it 6?)he said that he did not know about the possibility to order a 427 car from the factory. Mabye the author was so involved with Motion back in the day that he thought so too. Knowledge about COPO´s wasn´t widespread back in 1984, was it ? When I first saw my car in 1987 very few people over here knew what a COPO was.
