We got that via email a couple days ago, too. Sent it on to my brother, who is a baseball fanatic, figuring he'd find it interesting. He hadn't known about the Snopes debunking, but here's his reply....

"That would have been an amazing catch had it actually happened in a game! No question that was staged and the film edited. Catcher was right handed in the first scene with the batter in it, then he's left handed when they show him standing by himself.... not to mention there's no way she'd even be attempting that, running down the line as the ball is hit, during a game even if the left fielder weren't trying to catch it. But it does make for good entertainment!"

Yeah, as soon as I saw that I threw the BS flag. If that were real the left fielder would have knocked that dingbat on her a$$ as he made an attempt at that ball, then the ump would have tossed her out of there. If she had flipped that ball to me I would have said "WTF's the matter with you? Sit your a$$ on that GD chair and stick to the foul grounders." Another one of those "you go girl" BS videos.

It is good entertainment, but I haven't seen the commercial or I woundn't have posted it.
