I was wondering if you guys with L78 novas might know this answer...Ive had 3 1970 L78 novas in the past and was wondering if at the bottom line of the trim tag..in the middle is a letter A all by itself.....all three cars had the letter only in the very center of the tag...I know someone who has a 70 he is restoring and it has the A in the center bottom line and a A in crayon on the firewall...I only ask because I found another ss396 nova..original black..non original block...supposed to be a L78 car originally and has the A in the center bottom line...any clues?...Mike.

The letter A on the trim tag denotes Black painted interior trim. Earl

The right tank with the CH is the same for 3 or 4 core...the left tank will be IO on the curved neck application....obviously this is a Camaro radiator since Novas did not get the curved neck model.

i noticed on the crg site that they have noted production exceptions in radiator application and installation on the assembly line... i wonder if that was a possibility on the nova line as well?
