Just a few of me getting into the car; I did buy the video though. Each car has an in car camera and you can purchase a DVD of your time around the track. I should have that in 2 weeks.
Still can't get the smile off of my face. |

I Tamed the Monster a few years ago - it was so cool we went back and did it again the next year.
The format was a little different then, they would put out 4 cars at once. It was OK if you didn't get a slow poke in the mix. If you did they would come back in the pits and shuffle the slower car to the back. It sounds much better with only 2 cars at once. I lucked out being the lead car both times I drove, and there were no Sunday drivers in the mix. The second year we were turning laps in the 29 second range. The closer I would get to the lead car, the faster he would go. That small block would be wound up 7000+ coming down the back stretch, then the momentum would push you up under the starters stand when you came out of the 4th turn. What a RUSH! Experiencing this I can't imagine what it's like with 40+ cars pushing and banging turning times 5+ seconds faster. - - ![]() -
