Snow continues to fall near Stevens Pass this morning and a heavy snow warming remains in effect over the Cascade through 11 a.m. Heavy snow was falling this morning west of the pass from Skykomish to Scenic with lighter snow at the pass, said Jeff Adamson, a state Department of Transportation spokesman. Last night, a snow plow driver worked to clear slush off the road, Adamson said. “It has been about 30 years since they actually put a plow blade to the pavement in June on Stevens,” he said. Snow is causing problems for people driving over the state’s mountain passes, according to the National Weather Service in Seattle. Around seven inches of snow fell at Snoqualmie Pass overnight, Adamson said. The snow is expected to taper off today. ![]()

Well over here it's been 100 degrees plus the last couple of days. Yesterday I had to play 36 holes for two customer golf outings, one in the morning and the other at 2:00 in the afternoon. Both were on courses next to rivers where you could pick up a breeze but it was so hot and humid the breezes that came where of no relief.
This was not a dry heat but .... a very wet one First time I saw more water drunk on the course then beer. |
