1973 maco shark corvette
Just purchased a 1973 Corvette Maco Shark full chrome bumper car, really neat, needs resto but it is a real nice solid car. Full maco body kit, car is definantly pro built, just trying to figure out if it's a motion or silva built car.
I'll post pictures soon, I'm a computer idiot, I've looked at the posting tutorial, I just need to find a spare couple of hours to learn how to do it. I got a package in the mail today from the guy I bought the car from, In the package is two "maco" emblems still wrapped in Motion Performance packaging! How cool is that? Obviously I can't unwrap and use them, but really cool to have anyway. Car is a L82 4 speed a/c car, not really a muscle car, but really a cool car.

Weren't the Silva cars marketed as "Mako" and Joel's as "Maco" ?

The ribbon paint job on the other hand is awesome and well done, unfortunately the paint is shot and coming off the car. Even though I know this car doesn't have the biggest knife in the fight (little motor) I love these damn cars, I've been drawing this stupid car since I was in 5th grade. I loved the moray GT when I had it but once I knew what it was it drove me nuts to have it. How hot would a set of ss camaro "intakes" look on the "power bulges" on this hood? Thanks Chris for posting pics, make it up to Rochester and I'll buy you lunch.
